Shari Arison established the organization Essence of Life in 2001, with the goal of raising awareness and providing tools for inner peace. The organization is based on 22 core values that Shari Arison wrote, including Inner Peace, All One, Choice, Love, and more. The organization is part of the Arison Group, and operates as a nonprofit.

She established The Ted Arison Family Foundation in Israel, which operates to create responses to the needs of the community, through social investments and strategic philanthropy. The Ted Arison Family Foundation adopted the organization Good Spirit (Ruach Tova, in Hebrew) – a nonprofit that encourages the spirit of volunteering in Israel. Within this framework, Shari Arison initiated Good Deeds Day – a peek event of year-round activities of good, celebrated as an international day that involves millions of people in more than 100 countries across the globe. Additionally, Shari Arison established Matan – Investing in the Community – based on United Way, it strengthens the business sector’s commitment to the communities in which it operates.
Shari Arison developed The Doing Good Model – a sustainable values-based business model for positive creation worldwide, combining 13 fundamental human values in any activity. The Doing Good Model is used as a practical day-to-day tool for integrating values at the core of people, businesses, nonprofits, and communities, for the benefit of society at large.
